Press Release - MCUM receives early learning grant to support expansion of Compass Early Learning Center-Downtown. Expansion will add 48 spots in MCUM's licensed, accredited, high-quality center.

Expedited Childcare Expansion: Due to recent childcare program closures, MCUM's Board of Directors has voted unanimously to expedite expansion of the Compass Early Learning Center's Downtown Location. Beginning January 2, 2018, Compass-Downtown will serve up to 96 children at once, doubling its original capacity to serve 48.

MCUM Opens Self Sufficiency Center: Thanks to funding from the Raymond Foundation and the Jack Hopkins Social Services Committee, MCUM completed a renovation of its food pantry, creating an open floor plan design and a client choice program model. MCUM Hosts 10th Annual Each One Feed One Food Drive:  MCUM will hold its tenth annual Each One Feed One community food drive on Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23 at grocery stores across Monroe County.
