As you know, Monroe County United Ministries holds its annual Each One Feed One (EOFO) community food drive each August. This year’s event is scheduled for the weekend of August 11-13. Traditionally, EOFO brings between 10,000-15,000 pounds of food and hygiene items to MCUM as well as $5,000-10,000. It is MCUM’s most important drive as it re-stocks our pantry after a busy summer, but has become even more important this year as we have consistently served upwards of 39% more people every month through our new client-choice model.
Volunteers are primarily needed to collect donations at area grocery stores (Store Greeters)
and to coordinate store and volunteer activities (Drivers & Riders).
Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome to participate!
If you would like to sign up via phone, please call Katie Broadfoot at 339-3429 x14.
